WAKEFIELD, Mass.— Northeastern's
Dylan Jackson has been named the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week, announced by Hockey East on Monday. Jackson, a native of Oakville, Ontario, scored two game winners over the weekend to help the Huskies sweep Merrimack.
Jackson was the hero for the Huskies in Matthews Arena on Saturday with his game winner in overtime against the Warriors. He would stay hot through the remainder of the weekend, notching another goal during Sunday's 3-2 win at Lawler Rink.
The 5-foot-10 forward is making a strong impact with the Huskies, tallying nine points in 10 games played, including scoring goals in his last three games for the Huskies. Jackson and Northeastern will host New Hampshire on Wednesday at 6 p.m. inside Matthews Arena in a regionally-televised game on NESN.
