Northeastern dropped the second match of the day to host Pennsylvania in a 3-1 (30-27, 32-34, 21-30, 18-30) decision Saturday afternoon at the Palestra. Ashley Reeves and Kira Batura each recorded 12 kills for NU, who falls to 6-7 on the season.
Penn's Cara Thomason recorded a match-high 13 kills and Michelle Kauffman added 12 for Penn, who recorded a .268 attack percentage.
Northeastern will face Georgetown and St. Francis on the last day of the tournament Sunday afternoon at 10 a.m., and 3 p.m., respectively.
