WAKEFIELD, Mass.— Northeastern's
Dylan Jackson has been named the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month, announced by Hockey East on Thursday. Jackson, a native of Oakville, Ontario, is riding a six-game point streak with the Huskies after notching his eighth assist of the season on Tuesday night against Boston College.
In the month of January, Jackson notched all three of his goals and four of his eight assists in only five games. The 5-foot-10 forward also had two game-winning goals last month.
Jackson is tied in Hockey East for third in game-winning goals and freshman scoring (11 points) along with teammate
Gunnarwolfe Fontaine. Jackson has earned two Hockey East awards in only 12 games played, being awarded Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week also in January (
