NON-CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
BOSTON – Northeastern women's basketball head coach
Bridgette Mitchell released the team's 2022-23 non-conference schedule on Monday, featuring 11 games.
"We will be tested a great deal by this non-conference schedule," said Mitchell. "We will continue to believe in each other and trust that the work that we put in daily will earn us the success that we desire come conference play."
The Huskies open the season in style with a matchup at crosstown rival Boston University on November 7. Northeastern will then remain on the road, and have a tough test against a nationally ranked team in UConn on November 10, who is coming off an appearance in the National Championship game, falling to #1 South Carolina. The UConn Huskies have won 11 national championships, the most all time by a women's basketball program.
Northeastern will have its home opener on November 16 against ACC opponent Boston College, and then hit the road again for matchups at New Hampshire on November 19, and Maine on November 21.
The Huskies will then head South to the Sunshine State for the St. Pete Showcase on Thanksgiving weekend. In the tournament, Northeastern will face UW Green Bay on November 25, and Portland on November 26.
Northeastern will close out non-conference action at Merrimack on November 30, followed by two home games against Holy Cross (December 3), Harvard (December 5), and then away at Stonehill on December 20.
