Men's Basketball Closes Regular Season Vs. A&T, At W&M

BOSTON – It's crunch time for the Northeastern men's basketball team, which closes the regular season with two games this weekend, beginning with Senior Night on Thursday against North Carolina A&T (7 p.m.). The Huskies will then travel to William & Mary on Saturday at 2 p.m. Both games will be streamed on FloCollege, while Thursday's game will also air on NESN+.

FOUR THINGS TO KNOW

1. SERIES HISTORY AGAINST THIS WEEKEND'S OPPONENTS

Northeastern and North Carolina A&T are meeting for the third time, with the series tied 1-1. The Aggies won last year's meeting, 72-65, with Rashad King going for 11 points, six rebounds and two steals.

Saturday's regular season finale will mark the 37th all-time meeting between the Huskies and Tribe. Northeastern owns a 19-17 edge in the series, including wins in three of the last five meetings.

2. THANK YOU, SENIORS
Northeastern will honor Sam Thomson, Nate Francois and Alexander Nwagha during a Senior Night ceremony prior to Thursday's game.

Thomson joined the Huskies as a graduate transfer following four years at Colgate. He has appeared in 16 games this season, providing leadership and a veteran presence both on and off the court. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in management.

Francois began his career as a student manager for the men's basketball program while starring on Northeastern's club team. After collecting First Team All-American and Club Basketball Tournament MVP honors, he earned a spot on the varsity roster in September.

Nwagha has provided a presence down low throughout his five years at Northeastern, and has appeared in 104 career games, including nearly every contest over the last three seasons. In addition to his work on the court, he is an active member of Northeastern's Student-Athlete Advisory Council.

3. COACHES POWERING FORWARD
This weekend, Northeastern will be participating in Coaches Powering Forward. Coaches Powering Forward is an annual initiative bringing the NCAA community together to champion the mission of Autism Speaks. In the past decade, over 7,000 Autism Speaks puzzle piece pins have been distributed to coaches, staff, and broadcasters, fostering inclusivity during games. Autism Speaks is dedicated to creating an inclusive world for all people with autism throughout their lifespan. We do this through advocacy, services, supports, research and innovation, and advances in care for autistic individuals and their families.

4. PARKING FOR HOME GAMES AT MATTHEWS ARENA
Fans attending Athletic events at Matthews Arena are able to park in the Columbus Avenue Garage during the event free of charge.  The garage is open to fans two (2) hours prior to game time. From Columbus Garage fans can access Matthews Arena by taking the footbridge over the MBTA tracks via Camden Street. Fans should visit the Columbus Garage office to obtain a parking voucher prior to departure, and are asked to exit the garage no later than one (1) hour following the conclusion of the game.
