Thomas J. Rezzuti was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in the sports of baseball and football.

Rezzuti is often chronicled for his single season interception record of 14. However, he drove himself to the apex of his craft within the New England ranks both on the gridiron and the baseball diamond at Parsons Field.

Before hanging up the helmet, Rezzuti had pilfered 27 opponent passes and generally terrorized air traffic lanes throughout the East. He also returned punts and kickoffs for touchdowns on occasions and long chunks of yardage in general. As a junior, Rezzuti had two interceptions and returned a punt for a TD to key Joe Zabilski's 100th career win. Small College All America honors followed in 1972 and 1973 and his four interceptions in one game against both Holy Cross and A.I.C. and 14 total in his junior year have stood as New England and Northeastern records for over two decades.

Come spring, Rezzuti traded a pigskin for a glove and a bat, performing equally amazing feats. The fleet center fielder led off and if he wasn't spraying line drives, he'd get on base somehow and the green light was always on. With Rezzuti, who was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals, in the lineup, NU made the NCAA's in 1973 and '74. He hit .370 as a junior and made All East, and .345 as a senior, and made All America. A towering shot over Fenway's Green Monster in a regular season game against Boston University highlighted his senior year.
