With the tough task of facing the 11th ranked team in the nation, the Huskies lost to the Virginia Cavaliers, 4-1, Wednesday night at Klockner Stadium in Charlottesville, Va.

Trailing by a score of 3-0, junior Petter Starnas scored NU's lone goal when he netted his fifth of the season in the 76th minute of action. Starnas gathered a cross from Terry Demby and chipped it past Virginia goalie, Kyle Singer, from 10 yards out to make it 3-1.
