Northeastern University Athletics, under the direction of Athletics Director Peter Roby, makes student-athlete welfare a priority. The Student-Athlete Welfare department encompasses the mission of the intercollegiate athletics program by placing an emphasis on the development of the student-athlete as a whole, as well as the experience they will have during their time at Northeastern University. The department strives to meet the needs of the student-athlete in accordance with Northeastern’s goal of being a student-centered institution.
