Box Score The Northeastern men's soccer team lost to 23rd ranked Boston College, 2-1, in Newton on Sunday afternoon. Freshman Andrew Konoplesky scored his first career goal as a Husky.

After 39 minutes of strong defensive play, BC junior Jamen Amato sent a throw-in towards the net skimming Hadrien Toure to junior Sam Brill who rose above Northeastern defenders to put a header in the top right corner.

The Eagles second goal came in the 62nd minute, when midfielder Lennie McMillan found a streaking Greg O'Neil down the sideline, who sent a cross to sophomore Sherron Manswell. Manswell scored his fifth goal of the season.

The Huskies fought back to within one goal in the 84th minute, when Konopelsky finished off a service by freshman Ben Levy. Levy leads the team in points with four - one goal and two assists.

Senior keeper Sergio Saccoccio made three stops, while BC keeper Issey Maholo saved six.

Northeastern takes on Rhode Island on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. in Kingston, R.I.
