Box Score The Northeastern men's soccer team tied Furman on the second leg of the Coastal Carolina/Adidas Invitational Saturday evening. The Huskies finished the two-game tournament 0-1-1.
NU senior goalkeeper Sergio Saccoccio made five stops in net, while Furman keeper Bryan Amos saved three. The Paladins slightly edged the Huskies on corners, 5-4.
The entire game was plagued with a total 45 fouls. NU had 31 fouls, 25 of those within the first half.
The Huskies had five yellow cards given along with one red card to freshman Jordan Colbourn.
The Huskies come back home to Parsons Field to take on the Black Bears of Maine on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 3 p.m.
