Box Score The men's soccer team fell to Old Dominion in its first CAA match of the year by a score of 2-0 on Friday in Norfolk, VA.
Sophomore Monarch Nane Joseph got a head on a corner kick early in the first half from A.J. Kulp to put Old Dominion up 1-0. Later in the half Trevor Banks had his shot attempt denied by goalkeeper Mahmoud Talaat, but Joseph came upon the lose ball and put it home for the 2-0 lead.
The Huskies and Monarchs then played a scoreless second half in which sophomore Scott Partridge was called upon to play goalkeeper.
Senior Greg Kilkenny led the Huskies with three of their 11 shots. Old Dominion managed 16 shots and held a 6-5 advantage on corner kicks.
The Huskies return to action on Sunday at William & Mary at 1 p.m.
