Box Score The Huskies fell to the Massachusetts Minutemen on Saturday by a score of 2-0 at Rudd Field in Amherst, Mass.

Sophomore Bryan Hogan headed in a goal from freshman midfielder Ben Arikian early in the second half to give UMass a 1-0 lead. Only three minutes later NU goalkeeper Mahmoud Talaat saved a shot attempt by senior defender Kenny Cook, only to have junior midfielder Mike DeSantis put in the rebound to make it a 2-0 lead.

The Huskies and Minutemen played a scoreless first half that included only three shots on goal, two from UMass and one from Northeastern. Senior forward Greg Kilkenny took seven of Northeastern's 13 shots and had three of the team's four shots on goal.

The Minutemen improve to 3-4 while the Huskies fall to 2-5. Northeastern holds a 2-1 record at home, but is 0-4 when playing away from Parsons this year.

The Huskies return to action on Friday, Oct. 5 as they will take on Old Dominion at 7 p.m. in Norfolk, Va.
