GoNU.TV Season Survey

The conclusion of the Huskies' baseball season this past weekend also marked the end of the GoNU.TV season.

With 106 broadcasts of 12 Northeastern University sports, GoNU.TV had its most successful season to date. A new flash-based portal, updated live stats, more camera angles, updated on-screen graphics and dedicated announcers helped GoNU.TV provide fans with the best viewing experience of Huskies games.

New compatibility allowed viewers to watch GoNU.TV in more locations. This year, GoNU.TV broadcasts were available not only on desktop and laptop computers, but also on the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android platforms. Additionally, Northeastern students could watch live broadcasts on HuskyCable channel 81.

GoNU.TV expanded its reach beyond live broadcasts this season, and featured on-camera interviews with coaches, athletes and alumni, providing Northeastern fans with even more ways to follow Northeastern teams. The new “Get To Know Your Huskies” segment provided a glimpse into the relationships and interactions that make up Huskies sports.

Finally, GoNU.TV provided fans with a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to put on live broadcasts of Huskies sports.

The athletics video production team will spend the coming summer months working to improve GoNU.TV, to provide an even better experience for fans next year.

Allowing viewers to watch live games in more places, on more devices, and with more information at their fingertips, there is plenty in store for GoNU.TV in 2011-12.
