2011 Schedule

Northeastern men's soccer began its 2011 season with a 2-0 exhibition win over Hartford on the road Tuesday.

Ricardo McDonald opened the scoring with a goal in the first half, before tallying another in the second stanza.

The scrimmage left a positive impression on the coaching staff.

“Expectations have to be managed early on, but the passing and overall flow of the game was very positive,” said assistant coach Adam Pfeifer. “Overall it was a good, positive performance as we move through preseason.”

Northeastern has one more exhibition contest remaining against Boston College on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. The Huskies then begin their regular season when they travel to Providence College to take on the Friars on Friday, Aug. 26.
