Season StatisticsCAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard netminder Emerance Maschmeyer stopped 31 shots to backstop No. 8 Harvard (7-1-1) to a 3-0 win over the No. 4 Northeastern women's hockey team (11-3-1) on Tuesday night at Bright-Landry Center.
The Crimson scored once in each period to extend their unbeaten streak to eight games, while handing Northeastern its second road loss of the season.
Goal Recaps• Harvard struck first with 1:51 to play in the first period when Sydney Daniels sniped a shot over the shoulder of
Brittany Bugalski (31 saves) from the left circle.
• The Crimson doubled the advantage at 13:47 of the second stanza. On a power play, Abbey Frazier snapped a shot from the point that was deflected home by Grace Zarzecki in front.
• The hosts tacked on a third goal at 4:43 of the third period when Jessica Harvey jumped on a rebound and buried the puck at the right of the cage.
