BROOKLINE, Mass. – Putting its Parsons Field scoreless streak on the line during Saturday's Senior Night match against Drexel, the Northeastern men's soccer team battled to keep the visitors off the scoreboard until extra time, despite conceding the evening's golden goal to Laolu Daranijo and the Dragons during the 98th minute.
 
With Daranijo's goal, Northeastern (4-6-1, 2-2-1 CAA) witnessed its home scoreless streak end at 393:24 consecutive minutes, ranking as the fourth longest such streak during the program's CAA tenure (since 2005).
 
Senior captains Gerardo Milano, Martin Nygaard and Harry Swartz played the duration of Saturday's match alongside Adama Kaba and first-year Huskies Stach Jaran and Jack Monte. Swartz, Jacob Marin-Thomson and Frankie de la Camara co-led NU with two shot attempts apiece.
 
Chandler Cree made five saves before conceding the match-winning goal to Drexel (8-4-2, 2-4-1 CAA). Kewsi Allen assisted on Daranijo's golden goal, directing his right-to-left cross towards Daranijo at the back post.
