BOSTON – Welcome to NUHuskies.com, the online home for Northeastern Athletics! The site provides fans with access to the latest news, live and on-demand video, ticket information, and the ability to connect with their favorite teams via social media in a user-friendly, easy-to-navigate manner.
 
The new NUHuskies.com offers a better experience for fans, donors, alumni, prospective and current student-athletes, coaches and media. The improved website continues to provide schedules and rosters, game previews and recaps, statistics, player, coach and staff bios, infographics, and historical information on all 18 Huskies sports.
 
In conjunction with the department's goal to create unique opportunities for engagement that inspire new and deepening connections with stakeholders, fans were encouraged to let their voices be heard and choose the new URL for the department's online home.
 
"This is yet another exciting and innovative improvement for our athletics department," said Tim Duncan, deputy athletic director for external affairs. "We believe that the original content created here, in written, graphic design and video form, will shine a bright light on the vast accomplishments of our talented and dedicated student-athletes and teams. We'd also like to thank our loyal fans for their participation in the online vote to name our new website, and we appreciate the role they played in this process."
 
Our student-athletes and new branding take center stage on the department's new website, the one-stop shop for all things Northeastern Athletics. We present our most important component, our student-athletes, in bold, striking ways to celebrate their accomplishments and honor their dedication to Northeastern, and for all of our fans around the world who support our teams with great excitement and passion. Fans are also treated to a more visually appealing website, including several graphic design elements, as well as video feature stories on our student-athletes, coaches, fans and teams.
 
The new website is designed to give the user a consistent experience no matter what device you are using to access our content, including new tablet and mobile layouts. Whether you are buying tickets, merchandise, enjoying games on Howlin' Huskies Productions, or you just like to keep up with what's happening on a daily basis with our programs, this will be the site you can call your own.  
 
We encourage you to make it your home page on your browser as a way to stay informed with all the exciting things happening in Northeastern Athletics.

Other new and improved features on NUHuskies.com include:
• Built for mobile: the new website was designed knowing more than half of our viewers visit NUHuskies.com from their phones. The new design is easily navigable from all mobile devices. 
 
• A new "Event Center" at the top of the page that includes a centralized location for live stats, live video, live audio and the ability to purchase tickets for each event.
 
• More dynamic photography with larger images for each story.
 
• A more organized, easy-to-navigate site to enhance the user experience.
 
• Our top-quality video content, through Howlin' Huskies Productions, will take a more visually prominent role on the homepage and all sport pages, and will include feature stories from Tales of the Howlin' Huskies.
 
• The Twitter and Instagram social media accounts for all of Northeastern's varsity teams on the "Sports" dropdown menu to help fans receive up to the minute updates on their favorite Husky teams.
