2018-19 Ice Hockey Television Schedule | NESN and Northeastern enhance broadcasting partnership
BOSTON -- Northeastern Athletics and NESN announced Thursday the television programming schedule for the Huskies' men's and women's ice hockey teams, beginning this Friday when the Howlin' Huskies women's ice hockey team hosts Colgate at Matthews Arena.
The hockey slate includes more than 25 games (16 men's hockey, 11 women's ice hockey) on NESN and NESNplus during the 2018-19 season. The entire schedule can be seen below. Additional televised games for Northeastern's winter sports, including men's and women's basketball, will be announced soon.
The programming schedule comes as part of an enhanced broadcasting partnership between Northeastern and NESN, announced over the summer, to bring the Huskies into the homes of fans across New England.
The agreement with NESN includes up to 75 games shown exclusively on NESN and NESNplus in New England, a dramatic expansion from 18 games in 2017-18. The games, which will also be available on NESNgo the network's streaming service, extends to other sports beyond Northeastern basketball and ice hockey and also includes original programming.
