The Huskies (8-1-1, 7-0-1 WHEA) outshot the Crusaders (0-8-2, 0-5-0 WHEA) by a 52-8 margin, but only led by a slim 2-1 margin into the third period, before a scoring explosion put the game away in the final frame.
Ward redirected a Fontaine point-shot to make it 3-1 at 9:08 of the third, and Mueller tacked on another goal just 13 seconds later, blasting home a centering feed from Anderson.
Aurard then made it 5-1 with a power-play goal at 16:55, tucking home a cross-ice pass from Mueller, before Anderson put the cherry on top at 19:39 with a one-timer from a tough angle assisted by Fontaine and freshman
Miceala Sindoris.
Senior
Brittany Bugalski earned the win with seven saves to improve to 4-0-1 on the year.
The Huskies will look to continue their winning ways next weekend with a home-and-home series against New Hampshire.
