WORCESTER, Mass. – Thirteen different Huskies recorded at least a point as the No. 8 Northeastern women's hockey team picked up its seventh straight win with a 6-1 triumph at Holy Cross on Friday at Hart Center.

Junior Matti Hartman, junior Andrea Renner, sophomore Tessa Ward, freshman Alina Mueller, freshman Chloe Aurard and senior Kasidy Anderson found the back of the net, while sophomore Skylar Fontaine dished out two assists.

The Huskies (8-1-1, 7-0-1 WHEA) outshot the Crusaders (0-8-2, 0-5-0 WHEA) by a 52-8 margin, but only led by a slim 2-1 margin into the third period, before a scoring explosion put the game away in the final frame.

Ward redirected a Fontaine point-shot to make it 3-1 at 9:08 of the third, and Mueller tacked on another goal just 13 seconds later, blasting home a centering feed from Anderson.

Aurard then made it 5-1 with a power-play goal at 16:55, tucking home a cross-ice pass from Mueller, before Anderson put the cherry on top at 19:39 with a one-timer from a tough angle assisted by Fontaine and freshman Miceala Sindoris.

Senior Brittany Bugalski earned the win with seven saves to improve to 4-0-1 on the year.

The Huskies will look to continue their winning ways next weekend with a home-and-home series against New Hampshire.
