HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – Making its first postseason appearance since 2014, the sixth-seeded Northeastern men's soccer team competed hard against third-seeded Hofstra during Saturday's CAA quarterfinal match at the Hofstra Soccer Stadium, despite the Huskies exiting the conference tournament courtesy of their 1-0 defeat to the Pride.
Â
After being denied a first half attempt, Northeastern (6-9-1, 3-4-1 CAA) charted nine attempts during the second half, outshooting Hofstra (9-6-4, 5-2-1 CAA) by six in the category across the final 45 minutes. Sophomore forwards
