Northeastern competes at Boston Open

Results

BOSTON – The Huskies swimming and diving team finished up the regular season at the Boston Open on Friday and Saturday. Northeastern posted 22 season-best times against Boston College and Boston University.
 
The Red and Black took the top-three spots in both the 500 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke.
 
Matilda Weiler took first place in the 50 freestyle, while Paris James secured first in the 100 butterfly with a season-best time. Sophie Tallier earned two season-best times at the meet in the 500 freestyle and the 1650 freestyle.
 
Kristina Kirchoff also posted two season-best time on her way to top finishes in the 200 individual medley and the 200 breaststroke. Megan Kelley nabbed second place in the 100 and 200 freestyle.
 
The Huskies will now shift their focus to the postseason, beginning with  the Colonial Athletic Association on February 14 – 17.
