Huskies compete at JMU

HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Northeastern divers competed at the James Madison Diving Invitational on Saturday. The Huskies were able to get an early look at some Colonial Athletic Association opponents ahead of the conference championships, as they faced James Madison, Towson and Richmond.
 
In the one-meter, four Huskies advanced to the event finals. Alyssa Seales took the top spot for Northeastern, earning second place with a score of 271.85.
 
Jacquelyn Gover took seventh place, while Caroline Gonsalves and Sabrina Chan finished 11th and 12th, respectively.
 
Gover lead the Red and Black in the three-meter, securing fifth place with a score of 268.45. Chan nabbed seventh place, and Seales finished ninth.
 
Up Next for Northeastern:
The Huskies will compete next at the Boston Open on February 9, before heading to the CAA Championships on February 14. The women's 3-meter competition is set to take place on Feb. 15 and 1-meter competition will take place on Feb. 17.
