BOSTON – Mary Mulvenna, who brings more than 10 years of experience in NCAA, conference and campus governance, has been named the associate athletic director for compliance and enrollment services, athletic director
Jeff Konya announced on Wednesday. Mulvenna joins the Howlin' Huskies from the Ivy League, where she was the assistant executive director.
"Mary brings a wealth of experiences from various NCAA conferences, and we're thrilled to have her join our team at Northeastern," Konya said. "Her extensive knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, as well as her substantial involvement with a variety of campus personnel will serve our organization greatly."
Mulvenna spent the last year at the Ivy League, where she was responsible for working with admissions deans in the analytics and reporting of Ivy League admissions data, as well as managing the conference legislative process. She was also a secondary liaison to the Faculty Athletic Representatives, Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), compliance administrators, academic advisors, life skills coordinators and the autonomy review committee, and worked with various coaches' groups on sport-related issues and conference and NCAA related matters.

Prior to her time at the Ivy League, Mulvenna was the associate commissioner for governance and institutional services at the West Coast Conference, where she was the primary liaison for the conference regarding all governance and institutionally related matters.
Mulvenna also spent time in administrative roles at the America East Conference (2011-16) and the Missouri Valley Conference (2005-11).
Mulvenna received from bachelor's degree in sport and recreation management from Temple in 2001 before earning her Masters of education in sport administration from Temple in 2003.
