Dear Howlin' Huskies Supporters,
 
A New Breed Is Born! On behalf of Northeastern Athletics, I wanted to take a moment and thank you for visiting with us at our inaugural Howlin' Huskies Coaches Caravan earlier this month. Your passion for Northeastern is palpable, and your presence that evening made the night a great success. 
 
I've said this before, but now is the time to be at Northeastern. In the last six months we have: 
 
• Entered into a multi-year partnership with Under Armour as the official outfitter of Northeastern Athletics
• Finished 13th among Division I AAA institutions in the NACDA Learfield Directors' Cup standings
• Established the Top Dog Awards celebrating the success of our talented student-athletes
• Enhanced our broadcasting partnership with NESN to carry up to 75 games this season
• Outsourced all ticket marketing, sales and service support to The Aspire Sport Marketing Group
• Announced plans to install a 50-foot videoboard in Matthews Arena this fall
• Re-energized our visual identity with new branding and logos
 
While it was terrific to celebrate the most successful year in school history at the caravan, we've now turned our attention to what's to come in 2018-19. We have implemented several changes to improve the fan experience and game day atmosphere in recent months, along with a strategic marketing plan, and we hope that the Coaches Caravan helped fuel your enthusiasm for the upcoming year.
 
We're just getting started, and we have several exciting announcements still to come, but none of this is possible without your support. As our coaches alluded to at the caravan, we have high expectations for our department this season.
 
Our fall teams are already in full swing, and I encourage you to make a trip to Dedham Field, Parsons Field and Solomon Court at the Cabot Center to cheer on the Howlin' Huskies. In addition, season tickets for men's and women's ice hockey are currently on sale, and tickets to men's and women's basketball will be available soon. We look forward to having you on this journey with us in 2018-19.
