CAA release

RICHMOND, Va. – Saturday's CAA match at Parsons Field between the Northeastern men's soccer team and No. 9 UNCW, scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. on Sept. 15, has been postponed due to travel implications caused by the impending coastal arrival of Hurricane Florence later this week, as announced by the conference on Monday.
 
The match has yet to be rescheduled.
 
Hurricane Florence was upgraded to a Category 4 storm at noon on Monday and is expected to make landfall in North and South Carolina by Thursday night or Friday morning.
 
With the postponement, Northeastern's next home match is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 6 p.m., when the Huskies welcome Holy Cross to Parsons Field.
