CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Delaney Belinskas notched four points, including two third-period goals, to help No. 10 Boston College hold off a late charge by the No. 3 Northeastern women's hockey team in a wild 7-5 decision on Saturday afternoon at Conte Forum.

BC (14-9-0, 11-7-0 WHEA) led 5-2 heading into the third period, before goals from Brooke Hobson and Maddie Hartman brought Northeastern (15-3-3, 13-2-2 WHEA) within striking distance at 6:28 of the frame.

After a Belinskas goal made it 6-4, Paige Capistran found the back of the net on the rush to again bring NU within one with 3:31 to play. BC had an answer once more, however, as Belinskas pushed a loose puck past Brittany Bugalski with 2:08 to play to round out the scoring.

Kasidy Anderson scored for the fifth straight game and added an assist, and Andrea Renner (goal, assist), Maddie Hartman (goal, assist) and Codie Cross (two assists) also recorded multi-point efforts. Freshman Alina Mueller extended her point-streak to 20 straight games with an assist on Hobson's goal in the third period.

Aerin Frankel (21 saves) and Bugalski (seven stops) split time in goal for NU.

The Huskies return to action on Friday, Jan. 18 against UConn. Puck drop from Matthews Arena is set for 2 p.m.
