BROOKLINE, Mass.— Freshman
Nina Dooley scored the equalizer and assisted the game-winner as the Northeastern women's soccer team claimed the 2-1 come-from-behind victory over CAA foe William & Mary.
After falling behind 1-0 early to William & Mary (3-10-2, 1-4-1 CAA) in the first half, Northeastern (5-9-1, 2-3-1 CAA) responded with a goal of its own to enter halftime tied at 1-1. The Tribe capitalized on a deflected shot in the 10
th minute of action as Charlotte Hyland scored.
Nina Dooley found the equalizer for the Huskies in the 39
th minutes off a beautiful cross from fellow freshman
Jane Kaull. Kaull's assist was the first point of her Northeastern career.
Nina Dooley was not done with her big day, as she found senior
Olivia Ware in the 68
th minute, who headed home the game-winner for the Huskies. Ware scored her third goal in three games to continue her hot-streak.
Redshirt-sophomore goalkeeper
Megan Adams finished the day with three saves to claim her fourth win of the season.
