BUFFALO, N.Y.— Louiza Wise and
Alexander Korczynski led the way for the Northeastern men's and women's cross country teams at the NCAA Northeast Regionals, with both placing in the top-60. Due to concerns for athlete safety, the competition was moved from Audubon Golf Course to a road race on Thursday.
The men's team finished in 15th place in the team standings as Korczynski paced the Huskies finishing the men's 10K in 29:58.6 and placing 56th overall as an individual.
Cameron Dickson (30:07.8) and
Patrick Mullen (30:28.1) were the other top-100 finishers for the men.
Wise's time of 20:47.8 in the 6K helped her to a 51st place finish, while the women's team finished in 26th place overall.
