NEW MARKET, Va. -
Louiza Wise ran the second-fastest time in program history in the women's 6K, clocking a personal-best time of 20:54.9 to finish in sixth place, while
Cameron Dickson and
Alexander Korczynski posted times of 25:03.6 and 25:07.8 to finish eighth and ninth in the men's 8K, respectively, to lead the Northeastern men's and women's cross country teams at the CAA Championships on Saturday. The men's team finished runner-up, while the women finished sixth.
Wise, Dickson and Korczynski all earned All-CAA honors for their finishes this morning. William and Mary captured its 20th consecutive men's cross country title (27 total), while Elon captured its first CAA title in the women's race.
Matthew Schaefer (25:36.6), Brian Keller (25:54.5) and Luke Novak (25:55.5) all finished in the top 20 for the Huskies in the men's race. Madison Neuner (21:39.4) was the final top-20 runner for the women, tallying a 15th-place finish.
The men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships on Friday, Nov. 15, in Buffalo, N.Y.
