WILMINGTON, N.C.— Despite
Timothy Ennin's fifth penalty kick goal of the year, the fifth-seeded Northeastern men's soccer team fell to the fourth-seeded William & Mary Tribe, 4-1 in the CAA quarterfinals.
The recently named CAA Rookie of the Year, Ennin scored his fifth penalty kick of the season in the 31st minute of action. His goal cut William & Mary's lead to 2-1, after Julian Ngoh scored scored two early goals in the first half. Ennin is one of only three players in the country to convert 5-5 or better from the penalty spot this season.Â

Grant Elgin led Northeastern (6-9-3, 3-3-2 CAA) with three shots, while Ennin and Klingen each had two attempts. Goalkeeper
Chandler Cree finished with five saves in 90 minutes of action.

William & Mary (7-8-2, 4-3-1 CAA) added one two more goals in the second half to push the score line to 4-1 in favor of the Tribe.
