Lauren Rowe named ECAC Rookie of the Year

Rowe also earns All-ECAC honors

Danbury, Conn.- The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2019 Division I Field Hockey All-ECAC Team & Major award winners on Thursday. Northeastern Field Hockey is proud to announce Lauren Rowe has been named to the All-ECAC Team and as the ECAC Division I Rookie of the Year.
 
The ECAC is a college athletics conference that consists of 220 (87 DI) member schools that compete in 15 different sports. The DI Field Hockey division consists of powerhouses such as UConn, Saint Joseph's, and Delaware.
 
Rowe's breakout season has earned her various accolades this year including, CAA Rookie of the Year, First Team All-American and NFHCA All-American. Rowe's sixteen goals and eleven assists placed her first in the CAA in points per game (2.26) and sixth in all of Division I Field Hockey.
 
Rowe is Northeastern Field Hockey's first ever ECAC Rookie of the Year.
