BOSTON— Alina Mueller potted two goals, including the game-winner, to lead the No. 3 Northeastern women's hockey team to a 4-2 victory over Vermont in the Huskies' final game of the 2019 calendar year.

Eight Huskies recorded a point in the victory, with Mueller extending her point-streak to nine games and
Skylar Fontaine pushing her own to 10.
Miceala Sindoris got the scoring started for Northeastern (15-2-0, 12-2-0 HEAW) with her first goal of the season at the 4:47 mark in the first period.

Vermont (7-8-5, 4-6-3 HEAW) evened the score at 2-2 in the third period off a Maude Poulin-Labelle goal, Mueller then put her second of the night in for the game-winner, her fifth of the year. Fontaine closed the scoring out with an empty netter to push the final score to 4-2.

Aerin Frankel picked up her 13th win of the year, with 24 saves in the victory. Vermont's Blanka Skodova made 22 saves in the loss.
