BOSTON -- Northeastern Athletics is excited to announce the creation of the Howlin' Huskies Rewards App, a new fan rewards app that will allow Husky fans to earn prizes for their loyalty and dedication to Northeastern Athletics.

The Howlin' Huskies Rewards App, available in both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store, allows fans to earn points based on events and activities that they attend. Simply check in on the app once you are at an event and earn points towards wonderful prizes! There will be year-long competitions, in addition to smaller ones throughout the year as well. 

The top three students with the highest total points for the entire 2019-2020 season will win, from first to third place, free textbooks for a semester, a trip to the postseason tournament for either men's basketball or men's ice hockey, and an Under Armour swag pack. Two semester-long competitions will take place as well, with the top three students in the Fall semester winning a pair of Beanpot tickets each and the top three in the Spring semester earning gift cards or Red Sox tickets. Club sports and fraternity and sorority life will also take part in separate competitions, allowing the top scorers to win money for their respective programs.

The app is more than just a rewards app, though – fans will also be able to access additional information such as rosters, schedules, ticket information, social media accounts, and more! Points leaderboards will be displayed in the app, so fans can compete against their fellow Huskies to see who the ultimate Howlin' Huskies fan is.

The 2018-2019 season was a banner year for Northeastern Athletics, in large part thanks to the support of all the amazing Husky fans cheering on their teams. Now, fans can be rewarded for this support through the new Howlin' Huskies Rewards app as the Huskies look to make 2019-2020 the best year yet.
