BURLINGTON, Vt.— Matt Filipe tallied his eighth goal of the season to
lead No. 12 Northeastern (17-12-3, 10-11-1 Hockey East) in a 3-1 loss at Vermont (5-22-6, 2-17-4 Hockey East) on Saturday night at Gutterson Fieldhouse.
Riley Hughes and
Zach Solow each had assists for the Huskies and
Craig Pantano made 24 saves on the night.
Bryce Misley netted two goals for the Catamounts, while Derek Lodermeier also lit the lamp for Vermont.
The Huskies will try and bounce back next Friday and Saturday with a home-and-home series against Boston University to end the regular season.
