Huskies Lose First-Half Lead, Fall to BU

Sebastian Restrepo scored a goal and Colby Hegarty saved nine shots, but Northeastern men's soccer (9-4-2, 3-1-1 CAA) couldn't hold onto a first-half lead as they fell 3-1 to Boston University (3-8-2, 2-3-1 Patriot) at Nickerson Field on Tuesday night.
  • Restrepo's goal came in the 40th minute off a corner kick. It was the second of his career off assists from Jet Ulven (1) and Federico Tellez (9).
  • Tellez's ninth assist is the most on the Huskies, is tied for the lead in the CAA and is tied for third in Division I.
  • Hegarty's nine saves is the second-highest total on the season and the most since his 11-save performance against Merrimack (9/3)
  • One of his nine saves came on a penalty shot in the 84th minute.
The Huskies will move back to CAA play as they play at Drexel this Saturday, October 23 at 1 p.m. on FloFC.
