BROOKLINE, Mass. — Sophomore midfielder
Eren Senyuva hammered home a powerful strike to spark a comeback in the 83rd minute but Northeastern men's soccer (7-3-1, 2-1-0 CAA) was unable to come level with Boston College (4-4-2, 0-2-2 ACC) in a 2-1 loss on Tuesday night at Parsons Field.
- Senyuva's goal was his first of the season and second of his career. Senior forward Dan Munch earned the assist, his second of the season.
- Sophomore forward Federico Tellez and sophomore defender Sebastian Soriano led the team with three shots.
- Senior goalkeeper Colby Hegarty made three saves.
- The Huskies outshot the Eagles 16-9 on the evening but both teams had five shots on target.
- Offensively, the Huskies applied pressure in the second half after falling behind 2-0 at the end of the first. They had 14 shots and eight corner kicks after the break.
- BC got on the board early in the second minute thanks to a goal from Drew Serafino and scored late in the first half with converted penalty in the 43rd by Mike Suski.
