Aerin Frankel made 17 saves but Northeastern women's hockey (2-2-0, 2-2-0 HEA) fell 3-0 to Providence (2-0-0, 2-0-0 HEA) on Saturday afternoon at Schneider Arena.
- The Huskies outshot Providence 33-20 but were unable to convert their opportunities.
- This was the first time the Huskies have been shut out since Providence did it on October 25, 2019.
- Fontaine had four blocked shots and graduate student defender Brooke Hobson chipped in three stops in open ice.
- Junior forwards Katy Knoll and Peyton Anderson each had four shots.
The Huskies will continue their road trip as they travel to Manchester, N.H. to take on St. Anselm's College on Wednesday, October 13 at 7 p.m.
