Eren Senyuva tallied his first career goal and assist to lead Northeastern (0-5-1, 0-3-1 CAA) in a 4-3 overtime loss against Hofstra (4-2-2, 2-0-2 CAA) on Saturday afternoon at Parsons Field.

The Pride and the Huskies each found the back of the net within the first five minutes of play. As Hofstra posted a goal 2:10 into the match, Northeastern followed three minutes later at 5:22 as Senyuva scored his first collegiate goal with help from
Evensky Berleus. Senyuva's momentum carried four minutes later as he made a solid tackle and pass to Massoud who found the back of the net and gave the Huskies a 2-1 lead in the first 10 minutes of action.

Hofstra followed with another goal coming late in the second half however, Northeastern answered right back as
Benjamin Klingen beat a Pride defender down the sideline and found the head of
Stach Jaran to give the Huskies a 3-2 lead. As the physicality on both ends increased, Hofstra notched a goal at 71:56 to keep the game tied 3-3 before heading into overtime. With three minutes remaining in the first overtime, Hofstra recorded the game-winning goal off an unassisted corner kick.
Owen Kempton also made his first collegiate debut in net as he made 11 saves in his 90 minutes of play.Â
