BOSTON - Northeastern women's hockey standout
Alina Mueller has been named to Europe's 30 Under 30 by
Forbes Magazine, announced by the publication on Friday. Mueller, a junior from Winterthur, Switzerland, helped lead the Huskies to their fourth straight Hockey East Championship, first-ever Women's Frozen Four and National Championship game.
Mueller earned a spot on the Patty Kazmaier Top-10 list for the third consecutive season and garnered CCM/AHCA All-America first-team accolades for the second straight season. She led the NCAA with 38 points and 26 assists. Northeastern is 33-0-1 when she records at least a goal over the last two seasons and earned Hockey East Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.
For her efforts in college hockey and the Olympics, Mueller earned this distinction by
Forbes Magazine. She is the youngest player to collect a medal in women's ice hockey at the 2014 Sochi Games, and was named to the Media All-Stars and Best Forward after leading the 2018 PyeongChang Games with 10 points (7 goals, 3 assists).
