AMHERST, Mass. — Redshirt junior forward Timothy Ennin kicked off the Huskies' 2021 campaign with a goal in the 49th minute as the Northeastern men's soccer team drew 1-1 after overtime with UMass Thursday afternoon in Amherst.

• Ennin (10 career goals) scored his first goal of the 2021 season from a penalty kick in the second half, also recording three shots.
• Keeper Colby Hegarty played all 110 minutes, making a save in the effort.
• Midfielder Andres Torrealba registered a shot on goal in his 39 minutes.
• Federico Tellez came of the bench to provide 70 minutes of midfield play.
• Defender Kolade Saludeen made his Northeastern debut in the backfield with 106 minutes played.
• The first half ended with a 0-0 score before the Huskies struck first after the break.
• UMass tied the game with a goal from midfielder Ben Sheperd in the 50th minute.

The Huskies will travel to Bryant to play the Bulldogs on Monday at 3 p.m.
