POSTGAME PRESS CONFERENCE
BOSTON --- In a tough battle in front of a sold out crowd, the No. 7/8 Northeastern Huskies dropped, 2-1, to the No. 15 Providence Friars.
- After trailing, 2-0, through the first period and a half, the Huskies cut the game to one goal thanks to Gunnarwolfe Fontaine with a power-play goal. Aidan McDonough and Sam Colangelo were credited the assists.
- With his second goal of the season, Fontaine has now tallied at least a point in the last three games for the Huskies. In three games, he has recorded two goals and three assists for a 1.25 points per game.
- McDonough also has recorded at least one point in the last three home slates for Northeastern. With his assist tonight, he has tallied three goals and three assists in as many games for a 1.5 points per game.
- While seeing 51 shots on the night, goaltender Devon Levi finished with 49 saves.
