ELON, N.C. – The Northeastern men's soccer team (6-9-3) battled with Drexel (6-4-6) in the CAA Quarterfinals on Thursday evening at Rudd Field, with the Dragons taking a 1-0 victory, ending the Huskies' season.
 

• Despite several scoring chances in the first half, the Huskies were unable to gain any long-lasting momentum, trailing in shots at the half 8-3, 5-1 on goal.
• In the 67^th minute, after a missed Northeastern penalty kick, the Dragons ran the other way and tallied a goal off a corner kick to lead 1-0.
• The Huskies were able to get more set piece opportunities in the second, with five corners after getting none in the first, but were unable to convert on a late equalizer.
• Colby Hegarty finished the game with six saves, one less than his previous game against Delaware.
• The result was the 13^th one-goal game of the season for the Huskies. They had a 5-8 record in one goal games this season.
