BOSTON – Northeastern men's hockey's
Devon Levi,
Aidan McDonough, and
Jordan Harris have been named as CCM/AHCA Hockey Division I All-Americans for their performances on the ice in the 2021-22 season.
Levi and McDonough were named to the first team, the first Huskies to be named First Team All-Americans since 2019's Cayden Primeau –
Jordan Harris was named to the Second Team.
In addition to the All-American lists, and fresh off his Richter Award announcement,
Devon Levi was also named the National Rookie of the Year.
Devon Levi – So. - Goaltender - First Team All-American – HCA National Rookie of the Year
- Devon Levi posted an incredible first season of play, posting a .952 save percentage, a 1.54 goals against average, posting a 21-10-1 record in net with 10 shutouts.
- His save% ranked first in NCAA this season, and is tied for the second-best all-time save% in NCAA history.
- His goals-against average was third in the nation this season.
- 10 shutouts is tied for the third-most by an NCAA goaltender in a single season.
- He also posted 25 games in which the opponent tallied two goals or fewer, and had 16 games where he made 30+ saves.
- Was also named the Hockey East Rookie of the Year, Goaltender of the Year, a First Team All-Star, a member of the All-Rookie Team, and the PNC Bank Three Stars Award.
Aidan McDonough – Jr. – Forward - First Team All-American
- Northeastern's leader in goals for the 2021-22 season, Aidan McDonough tallied 25 goals in his junior season, the second-most in the NCAA this season.
- His .66 goals per game ranked third in the NCAA.
- Also tallied 14 assists for a team-high 39 points.
- Tallied five game-winning goals and six power play goals.
- Named a 2022 Hockey East First Team All-Star
Jordan Harris – Sr. – Defenseman - Second Team All-American
- Serving as team captain in his senior season, Jordan Harris appeared in all 39 games for the Huskies in 2021-22.
- As the team's top defenseman, blocked a team-high 69 shots and finished the season with a +11 rating.
- Also chipped in offensively with five goals, including one game-winning goal, and 15 assists.
- Earned one Hockey East Weekly Award in 2021-22, along with the 2022 Best Defensive Defenseman Award, and was also named a Hockey East First Team All-Star.
It's just the second time in program history that the Huskies have had three All-American selections, the first time being the 2018 season (Jeremy Davies, Adam Gaudette, Dylan Sikura).
