BOSTON— Northeastern women's hockey head coach
Dave Flint has announced the addition of Taze Thompson ahead of the 2022-23 season. A transfer from Harvard, Thompson will have three years of eligibility remaining with the Huskies.
"We are excited to be adding Taze to our lineup this fall," said Flint. "She is a gifted forward with a nose for the net, has a very high compete level and excels defensively. Her experience in the competitive ECAC will allow her to step into a big role for us right away."
A forward, Thompson tallied eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points as a first-year at Harvard. She was named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team and led all Harvard first-years in goals and points. Thompson helped lead Harvard to a 2022 Beanpot title, tallying a goal in both games for the Crimson.
A native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Thompson attended the New Hampton School and played club hockey for the Boston Junior Eagles.
