Huskies Fall at Elon

ELON, N.C.— The Northeastern women's soccer team opened its conference slate with a 2-0 loss on the road at Elon on Thursday evening at Rudd Field.
  • Just seven minutes into the match, the Phoenix got on the board with a goal from Bethany Harford. In the 63rd minute, Elon doubled its lead to 2-0, with a goal from Ashlee Brehio.
  • Porter Dooley and Nina Dooley each led the Huskies with two shots, while Vivian Akyirem and Katherine Marchesseault each posted one apiece.  
  • Holland Stam finished her day in goal with one save.
The Huskies will next travel to Towson to face the Tigers on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m.
