BOSTON – Northeastern Director of Athletics and Recreation Jim Madigan has announced two additions to the department's senior staff, with Victoria Boyle joining the Huskies as the Assistant Athletic Director of Game Day Marketing and Innovation and the promotion of Suzanne Rose to Assistant Athletic Director of Annual Giving.
Â
"I'm very excited to have both Tory and Suz as part of our team at Northeastern," said Madigan. "I believe they are both talented young leaders who will work tirelessly to move our department forward in the marketing and annual giving spaces for the benefit of our student-athletes and athletic programs."
Â
Boyle joined the Huskies in November after spending six years with Boston College as the Associate Director of Marketing, Licensing and Fan Engagement. For the Huskies, she is responsible for creating, implementing, and executing comprehensive marketing, advertising and promotional plans designed to increase visibility, drive attendance, and grow fan engagement for Northeastern Athletics.Â
Â
She will produce marketing strategies that cohesively incorporate graphic/motion design, photography, video production, game day experience, ticketing, digital and social media, public relations, alumni relations, and student life to create a transformative experience for fans of Northeastern Athletics.
Â
"Joining the Northeastern University team is a dream come true," Boyle said. "I am honored and proud to work with and learn from some of the best student-athletes, coaches, and staff in college athletics. I am so excited to officially be a Husky!"
Â
Rose, who joined the athletic department in the Fall of 2021, previously worked as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving where she was responsible for increasing annual donations, coordinating fundraising events, and supporting alumni relations and annual campaigns. In her new role, Rose will oversee planning and organizing fundraising initiatives on behalf of the athletic department, while working closely with the Northeastern Fund to develop annual solicitation strategies.Â
Â
"I'm thrilled about this opportunity to help advance the mission of Northeastern athletics and serve our incredible community of supporters," Rose said. "Our coaches and staff have been amazing to work with and we are very fortunate to be surrounded by passionate and engaged alumni, parents, friends, and fans who continue to enhance the student-athlete experience."Â
Â
In her first year at Northeastern in 2021-22, Rose played a leading role in the department's most successful Giving Day to date as well as profitable Athletics Golf Classic in the event's history. Additionally, she supported more than fifteen events, providing opportunities for alumni, parents, friends, and colleagues to reconnect and support current student-athletes.
