BOSTON – Northeastern student-athletes
Megan Carter (women ice hockey),
Nick Davis (baseball),
Devon Levi (men's ice hockey),
Kayla Martin (volleyball), and
Aidan McDonough (men's ice hockey) have been honored as recipients of the University's Huntington 100. The five student-athletes chosen to earn the prestigious honors marks the most for the department since 2015.

Sponsored by the Office of Student Life, the Huntington 100 honors outstanding students for achievements which are commensurate with the university's mission, ideals, values, and Academic Plan. These students represent what Northeastern is today – a selective institution with rigorous academic programs and a sharp focus on the global experience.

Each cohort of students is an incredible testament to the high ambition and achievement found in the Northeastern student body. Recipients are chosen for their:
• Impact on the campus community
• Record of service, be it within the university or another community
• Global engagement, in the form of international co-op, study abroad, or other experiential learning outside the United States
• Demonstrated leadership
• Entrepreneurial or innovative spirit
• Commitment to a high level of ideals and ability to positively represent the values of Northeastern

Carter is working toward a degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Carter has been stellar in the classroom with a perfect 4.0 GPA every semester at Northeastern. The Milton, Ontario native is a three-time recipient of the Elite 90 award, which is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships. An assistant captain with the Huskies, Carter set career-highs this season in goals (5), assists (17) and points (22). Hockey East's Co-Best Defender, Carter made her debut with the Canadian National Team this past winter. She is currently in the process of completing her second co-op with Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Levi, who is working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Business Administration, has named to the Dean's List twice, earned Top Dog honors, and garnered Hockey East All-Academic Team accolades. The junior goaltender finished his collegiate career appearing in 66 games, setting career program records in save percentage (.942), goals against average (1.90) and shutouts (16). In his extraordinary career, Levi has earned accolades of 2023 Hockey East Player of the Year, two-time Hockey East Goaltender of the Year (2022, 2023), 2022 Hockey East Rookie of the Year, 2023 Mike Richter Award recipient, two-time Hobey Baker Top-10 finalist (2022, 2023), 2023 Beanpot Tournament MVP and Eberly Award recipient. Most recently, Levi signed his first NHL contract with the Buffalo Sabres.Â

Martin is finishing up a degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Throughout her time at Northeastern, the Prosper, Texas native has been nothing short of stellar in the classroom and on the court. The senior has a 3.9 GPA, has been a Dean's List and Top Dog honoree six times, and was tabbed to the CAA Commissioner's Honor Roll. On the court, Martin led the Huskies as the team's captain and libero, earning Preseason All-CAA honors, CAA Tournament All-Tournament accolades, and capped off her Northeastern career in style, notching double-digit digs in 22 matches this season, averaging 4.20 per set.

Davis is wrapping up a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. The Pasadena, California native has been named to the Dean's List three times, is a Top Dog honoree, and was tabbed to the CAA Commissioner's Honor Roll. Davis has also been an integral piece to the Huskies as a strong arm coming out of the bullpen, earning his first career win in 2023 in relief against Central Connecticut State, and has five scoreless appearances this season, and 15 total in his career.

McDonough, who recently signed an NHL contract with the Vancouver Canucks, is on track to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. The senior has been named to the Dean's List twice in his career and has garnered Hockey East All-Academic Team honors. McDonough served as team captain for the Men's Ice Hockey program during the 2022-23 season. A key presence, he helped Northeastern claim two Beanpot Championships, the program's first Hockey East Regular Season Championship, and a NCAA Tournament bid in 2022. Additionally, McDonough is a two-time Hockey East First Team All-Star, two-time New England Division I All-Star and two-time Hobey Baker Nominee. He made 124 appearances for the Huskies recording 66 goals, 58 assists, for 124 points and finished as the NCAA career leader with 66 goals and 29 power-play goals.Â
