BOSTON— Senior netminder
Paige Taborski pitched a 26-save shutout to lead the No. 13/12 Northeastern women's hockey team to a 4-0 victory over the Boston University Terriers on Friday night at Matthews Arena. The win marked the Huskies' first Hockey East victory of the season.Â

Éloïse Caron and graduate student
Lily Yovetich posted multi-point evenings for the Huskies. Caron had two goals and Yovetich tallied two assists.
- Caron opened the scoring with her first goal of the evening at the 4:25 mark of the first period. Caron's goal was assisted by senior Skylar Irving and senior Tory Mariano.
- The Huskies added on two more goals in the second to take a 3-0 lead into the final frame. Northeastern scored both goals within 52 seconds of each other in the final minute and 30 seconds of action.
- Junior Holly Abela notched her first of the season with a helper from freshman Tuva Kandell. Caron got her second of the game to push the lead to three with assists from graduate students Jaden Bogden and Yovetich.
- Sophomore Ella Blackmore closed out the scoring with her first goal of the season at the 14:55 mark of the third period. Blackmore's goal was assisted by freshman Morgan Jackson and Yovetich.
- Taborski finished with 26 saves in her first shutout of the season and second of her career.
Northeastern and Boston University will close out the two-game series on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 3 p.m. in Agganis Arena.
