STONY BROOK, N.Y.— The Northeastern women's soccer team fell to the Stony Brook Seawolves, 3-2, on Thursday night.

The Huskies battled back from going down a goal twice, but the Seawolves found the game-winner in the 73rd minute of action.
- A back-and-forth first half, eventually saw Stony Brook strike first with a goal in the 33rd minute of action.
- The Huskies leveled the score at 1-1 in the second half when Addison Davis played a ball in, Rose Kaefer headed it down and Maggie Cochran tapped it in past the goalkeeper. The goal was Cochran's first of the season.
- The Seawolves retook their one goal lead with a strike in the 60th minute. Northeastern once again evened the score at 2-2Â with Lauren Ahles' shot trickling past the Stony Brook goalkeeper. Ahles' first goal of the season was assisted by Jessie Hunt and Avery LeVangie.
- A little over two minutes after Ahles' tally, Stony Brook scored to take a 3-2 lead. Despite continued pressure, NU was not able to find another equalizer and the final score ended in the Seawolves favor.
- Eliza Teplow finished with four saves. The Huskies had six shots on goal to Stony Brook's eight.Â
Northeastern will close out the regular season hosting Delaware on Sunday, Oct. 27 at Parsons Field. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and a fan bus will depart from Forsyth Street at 12:30 p.m.
