BOSTON— The No. 15 Northeastern women's hockey team dropped a 3-0 contest to the No. 11/12 Boston College Eagles on Saturday night at Matthews Arena.
- Northeastern and Boston College played an even first two periods with the Huskies holding a slight edge in shots, 18-17, after 40 minutes.
- The Eagles then posted three goals in the final frame, while NU couldn't find the back of the net. BC's first goal came at the 9:43 mark and they followed it up with a power-play tally two minutes and 21 seconds later to make it a 2-0 game. The Eagles sealed their victory with an empty-netter to bring the final to 3-0.
- Freshman Lisa Jönsson made 22 saves in goal. Boston College finished with a 25-23 edge in shots on goal.
The Huskies will close out 2024 on the road at New Hampshire on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m.
